Accounts are issued by the National Administrator at the Ministry of Health, to named officers. There is no self-registration, and no shared account for a post.

If you are a traveller, you do not need an account.

Go to the health desk at your point of entry. An officer will screen you there.

How to ask for one

  1. Ask through your supervisor

Your district supervisor or point-of-entry focal person confirms that you work where you say you work. A request that arrives without that confirmation is refused, which costs a week.

  2. Say where you are posted, and as what

An account is tied to a place and a job. Both can be changed later, but that is another request — it is quicker to get them right now.

  3. Watch for the invitation

You will be sent a link to set your own password. Nobody at the Ministry sees it, and nobody should ever ask you for it.

Choosing a password

The rule is short on purpose. Length is what defends an account; forcing a capital and a punctuation mark mostly produces Password1!, which is guessed in seconds.

  • At least 12 characters. There is no upper limit you will meet in practice.
  • Three or four unrelated words are easier to remember and far harder to guess than one word with letters swapped for digits.
  • Not built out of your own name, username or e-mail address.
  • Not a password you use anywhere else — and never shared, with a colleague, a supervisor, or anyone who says they are from support.

Leaving a post

Tell the National Administrator on the day somebody leaves, so the account is closed. An account that outlives the posting is the easiest way into a health system.

If you cannot sign in

It says my details do not match, and I am sure they do

Check the keyboard has not capitalised the first letter, and that you are signing in with the e-mail address or username the invitation was sent to. Either will work.

If it still refuses, ask the National Administrator to check the account is active.

I am asked to complete a check first

Your browser is asked to do a small piece of work before another attempt is accepted. It runs by itself and needs nothing from you beyond a few seconds. It happens on your own device, and nothing about you is sent to another company.

My account is temporarily locked

The lock lifts on its own, and the message on the page tells you roughly when.

If you did not make the attempts that caused it, tell the National Administrator — somebody else may be trying your account.

I have forgotten my password

Ask the National Administrator to send a new invitation. Nobody can read your existing password back to you, including them: it is not kept in a form anyone can read.
